Red Barked Tree

Wire has come a long way with many changes since the punk days of Pink Flag to the 80's pop of A Bell Is A Cup Until It Is Struck . Saying that, anything Wire has ever released has been solid. Their latest Red Barked Tree is simply a great indie-rock album and probably their best since reforming again in early 2000's. Those looking for the energy and experimental post-punk of early Wire, won't be finding it here, but will find am enjoyable rock album with catchy hooks and uniqueness in sound that Wire always delivers.
